her various emotions of the moment serve as the driving force of singing and artistic activities.
HOW HAPPY to see Sylvie Vartan in Japan！ That performance and that graceful sparkling voice of Sylvie Vartan in person. I had been crossing my fingers that this 17th tour must be absolutely at a traditional large concert hall, as was the case until 2008; I do wanna fully enjoy a proper dynamic live of Sylvie Vartan, her real strengths, what she is. I knew I was not the only one who was expecting such reunion. Finally, dream came true! Sylvie performes at Orchard Hall, Tokyo and NHK Osaka Hall.
Now dreaming that Sylvie is ready to sing high notes (falsetto) as before in terms of "IRRESISTIBLEMENT" - the dynamic hit tune between toward the end of 1970 and early 1971 in Japan - for It's an ever-popular song over generations, especially since 2002. Sylvie Vartan Japan Tour 1992 remains most vivid in my mind in every respect including this number. It would be perfectly or magically fresh. Sylvie Vartan must have such an extraordinary ability, capacity.
Recalling Sylvie Vartan in Tokyo 2008 (*) at Orchard Hall, of which set list included "Dans le souffle du vent" (cover of "Browin' In the Wind" in French). It struck my heart deeply. Sylvie sang with sad eyes sometimes during the concert since it was after her mother's demise (in the previous summer 2007), still her voice was truly richer than ever and singing soulful. We do see Sylvie Vartan's true worth in this way. I can just see in my mind's eye all the sublime scene where she sang this song (almost a cappella) in many shafts of blue light, as if she were singing in the rain or in the quiet forest or on the wide spread of prairie. Such a moving and vibrant Live Sylvie Vartan in Tokyo 2008.

She was invited to a popular live TV music program of NHK (Japan's only public broadcasting)
on 29 May 2018 just before her Osaka concert at the same NHK Osaka Hall.

- ヴァルタンのメッセージ + "IN MY LIFE " (ビートルズ/1965年の作品）収録.
シルヴィ・ヴァルタンの新作、11月30日フランス発売（2018年夏アメリカ録音/カバー・アルバム）。ジョニー・アリディ（フランスのロック歌手/1943-2017）へのオマージュ。二人は15年間（1965-1980）夫婦で、音楽レパートリーにも共通点があり、常に家族同様に親しかった。ヴァルタンのメッセージとビートルズのIN MY LIFEが終盤に収録されていて、これが目立って新鮮に響く。オーケストラとの直接録音。
