Every concert live in Japan that I saw with my own eyes has such a great impact on me.
Especially the recent performances in 1992, 2005, 2008, 2013, 2014, 2018.
All are still vivid in my mind in detail and her voice echoes in my ear.
I've never dissapointed at/with Sylvie Vartan on stage even a single second.
Actually, Vartan is always above and beyond my expectations.
One of my friends, who is semi-professional painter, asked me about

MARVELOUS SYLVIE VARTAN IN PARIS - THAT'S SYLVIE !! - 20.10.2023
It's a topic on her important humanitarian activities L'Association Sylvie Vartan pour la Bulgarie (since 1990), not yet on her professional musical activities. Their annual meeting at Bulgarian Embassy in France (Paris) was held on Friday 20 October 2023. Sylvie Vartan participates in it every year and this time there was a special party (gala) they organized (at Le Fouquet's) . There Sylvie dressed with chic showed up in such a stylish black clothes (ensemble pantalon) wearing cool high-heeled shoes. That's great! Oh, she looks most gorgeous in recent years. This kind of black (material and design) suits her best. Her hair style as well. And furthermore, there is impressive words smiley Sylvie said there: -
We are a small association (non-profit organization) but what matters is to participate.
Both Sylvie and Tony Scotti are in such a good shape and look nice and gentle. An exceptionally beautiful couple at this age, with their loved daughter Darina. A warm family.
So, can't help looking forward to her professional projects 2024 !!

Biography of the four (4) singers Sylvie Vartan, Francoise Hardy, France Gall, Sheila. They made their debut in 1960s (in thier late teens) and are the epitome of the French popular music and pop culture in 1960s/1970s. It has color photographs of each of them on several pages in the middle. Those of Sylvie look not thoroughly selected, though.
These stars were in early adolescence at the dawn of Rock & Roll (a style of popular music) that emerged from America and had an impact on the global music landscape from the mid-1950s to the end-1960s.
The 1960s were also an age of fashion innovation for women including jeans and pants and many more, as Yves Saint Laurent showed his first LE SMOKING tuxedos for women in 1966, which Sylvie Vartan and Francoise Hardy wore first of all.
Such historical background adds interest in these iconic French singers. Also, getting married in thier early or late twenties at their peak of popularity, they valued both profession and family. The independent unique persons' professional success brought a great impact on many young people both nationally and internationally beyond the 1960s/1970s.
Notably, Sylvie Vartan has constantly released albums ( * ) and performed on the stage at home and abroad till now, having a big presence. ( * the 50th studio record of original songs in 2021)

We feel a wind (breeze) and those are a bit different from others, I think. Even today (2021 for exemple) , his pictures of Sylvie on stage are simply fresh and stimulating in the same way. A fantastic photographer.

Sylvie Vartan sings out of her early years, her childhood.Nicolas, her great success of 1979 is a cover of Hungarian song in French text reflecting Sylvie Vartan's childhood in Sofia. Sylvie Vartan has richer beautiful voice and never fail to deeply move us since 1979 whenever and however she sings it. An absolutely formidable number Sylvie performs in recording or live. It generates a sense of unity between Sylvie and audiences in every live.
This mini-album especially resonates in the heart in the midst of war, the Russian extreme barbarity of invasion and extermination of Ukraine.
Sylvie Vartan acts urgently and provices humanitarian aid through music. Her top musicians volunteered to participate in this recording in Paris in April 2022.
Incidentally, she runs NPO Association Sylvie Vartan pour La Bulgarie, which she started with her brother/composer Eddie Vartan (1937-2001) in December 1990, mainly supporting unfortunate children in her homeland, where she spent her first 7 years or so before her family legally immigrated to France in 1952.

Impressive opening number LE BLEU DE LA MER NOIRE and DU COTE DE MA PEINE. Clala Luciani's modern piece A DEUX PAS DE VOUS, a ray of sunshine of the album that best suits Vartan's voice. Finally, striking MERCI POUR LE REGARD and gracefully dynamic 1st single LES VENTS CONTRAIRES let fantastic fresh air in.
Otherwise, the album photos do not always have to be such close-up simple portrait, I think. Sylvie Vartan is a beautiful person but it's not only her visage.
